S. COUPS turned heads at the 2025 Met Gala, merging Korean heritage and modern tailoring in an unforgettable BOSS creation.
On a night where fashion meets art, S. COUPS, leader of global K-pop sensation SEVENTEEN, made an unforgettable debut at the 2025 Met Gala, dressed by BOSS. Embracing this year’s theme — a dialogue between tradition and modernity — the South Korean artist emerged as one of the standout male guests, and one of the very few who truly embodied and elevated the night’s concept.
BOSS created a look that reimagined the jeogori — the upper garment of the traditional Korean hanbok — through the lens of contemporary tailoring. Crafted from fine Italian grey wool flannel, the deconstructed coat featured a shawl collar, contrast pleated lining and soft draping that nodded to its heritage. The ensemble was completed with a cross-over blazer merging hanbok and Western suiting, sharp pleated trousers, a Mao-collar shirt, and heeled boots in matching wool.
This appearance not only marked a key moment in S. COUPS‘ new role as global ambassador for BOSS, but also cemented his place as a fashion-forward figure unafraid to take risks. His look stood out as a refined, culturally resonant statement — proving that menswear can, and should, be both bold and intelligent.
