Adrien Brody could be in the running for an Oscar with ‘The Brutalist’

The film is set to premiere in UK on 24 January.

The Brady Corbet-directed movie was one of the big winners at the Golden Globes, alongside Emilia Pérez‘. After securing awards for Best Drama and Best Actor, it comes as no surprise that the film is also expected to sweep at the most iconic and prestigious film awards: the Oscars.

Starring Adrien Brody, ‘The Brutalist‘ has been hailed as a timeless film, a masterpiece, and an instant success. Rarely have critics and audiences been so united in their praise for a film.

The Brutalist‘ premieres this Friday in UK and tells the story of architect László Toth, who is forced to separate from his wife due to the Second World War. He journeys to the United States, where he must rebuild his life and career. The Oscar winner has a strong chance of taking home another Academy Award, with American media calling his performance the best of his career and highlighting his incredible acting work. In addition to Brody, the film also features renowned actors such as Felicity Jones, Guy Pearce, and Joe Alwyn.
