Prada Frames 2025 will explore mobility and infrastructure in a unique symposium at Milan’s central station.
The 2025 edition of Prada Frames will take place from 6th to 8th April during Milan Design Week, offering a symposium on mobility and the infrastructure that facilitates it. The event, titled ‘In Transit’, will bring together experts from various fields to explore how dynamic movement systems impact daily life, ranging from the mobility of people and goods to technology and digital networks.

The symposium, created by the design studio Formafantasma and sponsored by Prada, will take place in a unique setting: Milan’s central train station, at the ‘Padiglione Reale’, historically reserved for the Italian royalty. Furthermore, attendees will have the opportunity to take part in conversations aboard the ‘Arlecchino’ train, a vehicle designed by Gio Ponti in 1950.

Prada Frames will seek to reflect on the impact of artificial intelligence, data centres, and migration flows, highlighting the contradictions inherent in current mobility. With prominent speakers such as Kate Crawford, Hito Steyerl, and Paola Antonelli, the event promises to offer a profound reflection on the future of mobility and infrastructure in an increasingly interconnected world.
