Maroon 5 and BLACKPINK’s LISA join forces for the first time on ‘Priceless’, an explosive and unexpected collaboration.
Western pop and K-pop come together in ‘Priceless’, the debut collaboration between Maroon 5 and LISA, a member of BLACKPINK. This single marks a sonic return to the guitar-driven roots of the band led by Adam Levine, infused with the charisma and energy of one of Asia’s most influential pop stars.
The music video, directed by Aerin Moreno, draws direct inspiration from the film Mr. & Mrs. Smith and was shot on 35mm film, giving the project a cinematic feel. In Levine’s words: “It’s a guitar-based song, something we haven’t done in a long time. I was thrilled recording it because it felt like going back to our beginnings.”
The track is expected to feature on Maroon 5’s upcoming album, the follow-up to Jordi (2021), and was teased on social media with snippets of Levine’s signature falsetto vocals. With this collaboration, both artists transcend musical and cultural boundaries, reaffirming their relevance on the global stage. ‘Priceless’ is now available on streaming platforms, accompanied by a music video that’s set to go viral.
