Louis Vuitton is unveiling two immersive exhibitions celebrating the art of Yayoi Kusama and her cultural connection with Japan.
The French maison has announced two major new exhibitions that will mark a significant milestone in its artistic and cultural journey, coinciding with Expo 2025 Osaka Kansai. These shows honour both Yayoi Kusama’s iconic work and Louis Vuitton’s longstanding relationship with Japan, appealing to enthusiasts of art, fashion, and design alike.

The first exhibition, YAYOI KUSAMA – INFINITY – Selected Works from the Collection, opens on 16 July 2025. Inspired by the childhood hallucinations that shaped Kusama’s creative world, the exhibition invites visitors to immerse themselves in a unique sensory experience. At its core is the Infinity Mirror Room—the artist’s first mirror room installation—where infinite polka dots create a mesmerising and immersive environment. This work is accompanied by Kusama’s poem Every Day I Pray for Love, offering an intimate glimpse into her emotional and poetic universe.

Running alongside this is Visionary Journeys, an exhibition that traces Louis Vuitton’s 170-year history. This immersive journey explores the brand’s creative evolution, its artistic collaborations, and its enduring dialogue with Japanese culture. The exhibition will be held at the Nakanoshima Museum of Art in Osaka, from 15 July to 17 September 2025, establishing itself as one of the year’s most anticipated cultural events.
Through these exhibitions, Louis Vuitton reaffirms its commitment to artistic innovation and the fusion of fashion, contemporary art, and cultural heritage. Both shows promise to attract a global audience seeking impactful visual experiences, helping position Osaka as a hub of international art in 2025.
