Family elegance reigned in New York. Academy Award winner and film legend Julia Roberts attended alongside her niece, actress Emma Roberts, at the event hosted by Veuve Clicquot and designer Simon Porte Jacquemus to celebrate their new collaboration.
Held on 9 September at the iconic Central Park Boathouse, the evening gathered some of the most influential names from the worlds of art, fashion and entertainment. Julia chose an oversized black suit with a crisp white shirt, reaffirming her relaxed yet powerful style, while Emma opted for a semi-sheer black dress, sophisticated with a subtly provocative edge.
Other notable guests included Solange Knowles, model Imaan Hammam, theatre producer Jordan Roth and Jacquemus himself, accompanied by his husband Marco Maestri.
The gathering not only marked a fusion of fashion and champagne, but also a rare media moment: Julia and Emma Roberts together at the same event. Though they share both lineage and talent, their public appearances together are few and far between. For those who might not know, Emma is the daughter of actor Eric Roberts, Julia’s elder brother.
