Dior has introduced Mia Goth as its new global ambassador, ahead of Jonathan Anderson’s much-anticipated womenswear debut on 1 October.
As Dior prepares to unveil its first women’s collection designed by Jonathan Anderson, the maison has announced a stellar addition to its family: Mia Goth. The British actress, known for her magnetic screen presence and unconventional style, joins Dior as global ambassador.
In an exclusive statement shared with WWD, the French house described Goth as a “bold and unique personality”, with magnetic charisma and “a profoundly independent presence”. The partnership comes at a pivotal moment in her career, as she takes on a leading role in Guillermo del Toro’s upcoming adaptation of ‘Frankenstein’, alongside Jacob Elordi and Oscar Isaac.
“I’ve been a fan of Mia and her work for a long time; collaborating with her is a dream come true for me. Her presence and empathetic personality make her the perfect Dior woman for this new era,” said Anderson.
At the recent Venice Film Festival, Goth turned heads on the red carpet in a chocolate satin gown with an oversized bow, a Dior creation by Anderson. Her avant-garde sensibility was further underlined when she wore archival pieces from Versace and Mugler, sourced by New York boutique Tab Vintage.
“I am grateful to be starting this collaboration with Dior in this new era under Jonathan Anderson. His unique vision, combined with Dior’s timeless elegance, resonates with me on a deeply personal level,” the actress said.
Mia Goth now joins Mikey Madison and Greta Lee, who were also recently announced as brand ambassadors. The move consolidates the new aesthetic language Anderson seeks to bring to Dior, blending modernity, daring and sophistication.
Beyond ‘Frankenstein’, Goth’s upcoming projects include two major productions: Christopher Nolan’s ‘The Odyssey’ and ‘Star Wars: Starfighter’, where she will star alongside Ryan Gosling. Both are tipped to be box-office hits, underscoring the actress’s growing influence in the global industry.
This is not Goth’s first encounter with fashion: she previously fronted Prada’s La Femme fragrance and appeared in several Miu Miu campaigns, even walking in its Autumn 2023 show. Her alliance with Dior marks, without doubt, a new chapter for both.
