Bulgari has unveiled a new four-storey flagship on Rodeo Drive, reinforcing its expansion in California and elevating the contemporary experience of Italian luxury.

The Italian maison has officially opened the doors of its new flagship boutique at 401 Rodeo Drive, a four-level space that redefines its presence in Beverly Hills. The Roman house relocates its historic retail location to a strategic corner on Brighton Way, now offering more than 540 square metres dedicated to high jewellery, timepieces, fragrances and luxury accessories, alongside an exclusive private salon and a rooftop terrace with views.

The opening marks a new chapter for Bulgari in the United States, a market undergoing sustained growth. As the brand’s global leadership notes, California has become one of its strongest territories, home to a clientele deeply connected to craftsmanship, innovation and Italian design.

The move stems from a clear vision: greater visibility, greater capacity, and an immersive experience aligned with the brand’s DNA. The space has been conceived to express the maison’s full identity — from its Roman codes to its contemporary aesthetic — incorporating materials such as travertine columns, fluted walls and architectural elements inspired by the history of Rome.

The Italian jewellery house continues to expand its footprint in the US market with new openings and refurbishments in key locations. Following recent renovations in Costa Mesa, Topanga and San Francisco, the brand has placed particular focus on Beverly Hills and Miami, where it has also unveiled a newly redesigned two-storey boutique in the Design District, conceived with a tropical approach and artisanal details that harmonise with the surroundings.

In Los Angeles, the boutique stands out for its handcrafted façade made of more than a thousand glass pieces inspired by a 1930s bracelet, a nod to Bulgari’s archives. Inside, the iconic amber palette of the house is paired with a Serpenti-motif ceiling and a central staircase framed by a crystal installation crafted by Venini.

The brand’s most emblematic collections — Serpenti, Divas’ Dream, Tubogas, B.Zero1 and Octo — take centre stage throughout the space. The rooftop terrace, the first of its kind for Bulgari in North America, has been designed to host private gatherings and exclusive events under the city’s warm skies.

At the same time, Bulgari continues to strengthen its momentum in the jewellery sector, one of the most resilient segments of the luxury industry. In a global context marked by a slowdown in certain fashion categories, the maison maintains solid growth supported by the heritage value of its pieces and the enduring nature of its creations, understood as both investment and legacy.

The house anticipates continued expansion in the United States, pursuing a model that blends innovation with loyalty to its Roman roots. The aim is to grow without losing the essence that has defined Bulgari since 1884, adapting the way it tells its story to connect with new generations of consumers drawn to craftsmanship, art and excellence.
