The actress fulfils a long-held wish by taking part in the iconic animated series, lending her voice to the quietest character in Springfield.

Lindsay Lohan has achieved one of those aspirations seemingly reserved only for true pop-culture icons. The actress appears as a guest star in the latest episode of ‘The Simpsons’, aired on Sunday, 14 December on Fox, where she voices none other than Maggie Simpson.

The episode, titled ‘Parahormonal Activity’, is set in a near future where Marge and Homer’s children are now teenagers. As Marge does her best to navigate the family’s hormonal whirlwind, a sudden life shift shakes her completely, leaving Homer — or so it seems — as the last sane person in the house.

In this leap forward, Maggie is no longer just the silent baby we’ve known for decades, and that is where Lohan’s role comes in, giving voice to Springfield’s most enigmatic character. A gesture warmly welcomed by fans, who have spent years hearing little more than the character’s trademark pacifier.

Lindsay Lohan shared her excitement on social media, teasing her appearance with several Instagram posts. “Catch me on ‘The Simpsons’ this Sunday on FOX! It’s a dream come true to be part of such an iconic family,” she wrote, accompanying the announcement with a short preview of the episode.

For anyone who missed its television premiere, ‘Parahormonal Activity’ is now available on Hulu from Monday, 15 December, allowing viewers to revisit this unexpected — and highly symbolic — cameo.

Lohan’s participation adds to her ongoing creative and media resurgence, consolidating a chapter marked by nostalgic projects, unexpected collaborations, and a genuine reconnection with the audience that once made her a star.
