Hilary Duff reveals Aaron Carter appeared in a session with a medium and describes the moment as unexpected and intense.

Hilary Duff has shared a personal experience that has surprised even her own fans. During her appearance on the podcast Las Culturistas, the artist revealed that Aaron Carter, her teenage ex-boyfriend, allegedly appeared during a session with a medium.

The revelation came in the episode released on 1 April, where Duff explained that, although she does not base her life on these practices, she occasionally turns to psychic readings out of curiosity and as a way to “validate the path” she is on. “I don’t live by it, I do it more for entertainment,” she clarified. However, the session took an unexpected turn.

According to Duff, the medium — who supposedly did not know her identity — began describing the presence of someone named “Aaron with two A’s”. That was when Duff asked directly whether it was Aaron Carter. The answer was yes, leaving her completely surprised. The actress recalled the moment with humour, even noting the medium’s reaction upon recognising her. While she chose not to reveal the message Carter allegedly conveyed, she did describe the experience as “very intense” and out of the ordinary.

The connection is not entirely random. Duff explained that she remains close to the singer’s family, particularly his sister Angel Carter, with whom she is still in contact. In fact, their children attend the same school, maintaining a connection between both families. Duff and Carter dated during their teenage years in the early 2000s after meeting on the series ‘Lizzie McGuire’. Their relationship became part of one of the most talked-about love triangles of the time, as the singer was also linked to Lindsay Lohan.

Following Carter’s death in 2022, Duff shared a public tribute remembering the impact he had on her youth. She spoke of his “special charm” and the intensity of that period in her life. Now, years later, his name resurfaces in a completely different context.

While there is no confirmation beyond Duff’s account, her story has reignited interest in a relationship that defined an entire generation.
