Cruz Beckham unveils Wear & Tear, the title track from his debut EP, while announcing his first-ever headline tour across North America and the UK.
Cruz Beckham is ready to carve out his own place in the music industry. The British singer-songwriter, and son of David Beckham and Victoria Beckham, has released ‘Wear & Tear’, the title track from his highly anticipated debut EP, which is set for release on 21 August 2026.
Alongside the new single, the 20-year-old artist has also premiered the official music video and opened pre-orders for the project, marking the beginning of what promises to be an exciting new chapter as he establishes himself as one of the UK’s emerging pop talents.
Speaking about the meaning behind the EP, Cruz explained that ‘Wear & Tear’ reflects the experiences that shape every person’s life.
“Wear & Tear is synonymous with a life lived and all your life experiences so far – the good and the bad, the learning curves, and everything in between. No matter how different every human experience is, we all have had at least a few similar emotions that make us all human. We’ve been high and low, in love and in pain, jealous, upset – we’ve lived and learned. We’ve all got our own wear and tear.“
The release marks the first major milestone in a musical journey that has been quietly developing over recent years. Now, with his debut EP approaching, Cruz is preparing to take his music to audiences around the world through his first headline tour.
The tour will kick off next month with a series of performances across the United States and Canada, before crossing the Atlantic to appear at some of the summer’s biggest music festivals. His festival schedule includes appearances at Lollapalooza, Outside Lands, Reading & Leeds, Rock N Roll Circus and Shaky Knees, where he will share the stage with some of the biggest names in international music.
Beginning on 28 July in Washington, D.C., the tour will travel through major cities including New York, Toronto, Chicago, Seattle, Portland, San Francisco and Los Angeles. It will then continue across the UK with performances in Norwich, Sheffield, Reading and Leeds, before concluding in Atlanta this September.
Although his surname inevitably places him in the public spotlight, Cruz Beckham has spent recent years developing an artistic identity that stands firmly on its own. Rather than relying on the sporting legacy of his father or the pop history of his mother as a member of the Spice Girls, the young musician is determined to establish himself through his own songwriting, sound and creative vision.
With ‘Wear & Tear’, Cruz Beckham introduces the world to a deeply personal project that reflects both his musical influences and his ambition to forge a lasting career in contemporary pop.
