SKIMS and Ludovic de Saint Sernin unveil a limited-edition collection where sheer fabrics, figure-hugging silhouettes and ’90s references celebrate the body with confidence.

SKIMS continues to expand its fashion universe, this time joining forces with one of the designers who has most successfully transformed sensuality into a contemporary language. The brand founded by Kim Kardashian is launching a limited-edition collaboration with Ludovic de Saint Sernin on 1 October 2026, with a collection built around the body, confidence and carefully considered provocation.

The partnership feels particularly natural. On the one hand, SKIMS has built much of its identity around garments that follow and sculpt the body through specialised fabrics and ultra-close fits. On the other, Ludovic de Saint Sernin has spent years exploring concepts such as nudity, transparency, desire and freedom through minimalist designs that make the wearer the true protagonist.

The SKIMS x Ludovic de Saint Sernin collection finds its strongest connection precisely within this shared territory. Dresses and separates form a wardrobe featuring sheer fabrics, lace-up details, strategic cut-outs and figure-hugging silhouettes, constantly playing with the balance between what is revealed and what remains concealed.

But this collaboration did not begin from scratch. Kardashian’s relationship with the designer dates back to the early years of Ludovic de Saint Sernin’s label, when the American entrepreneur became one of the first internationally recognised figures to support and wear his creations. Now, that connection has evolved into a joint project that also revisits some of the most recognisable moments from Kim Kardashian’s personal style.

“Ludovic has such a unique perspective and an incredible ability to create pieces that feel both provocative and refined while celebrating the beauty of the human form,” explains Kardashian, co-founder and Chief Creative Officer of SKIMS. For her, the collection stems from a shared vision of confidence and the relationship between clothing and the body.

The designer himself acknowledges that Kim Kardashian became a direct reference throughout the creative process. His team looked at the silhouettes, attitudes and fashion moments that have defined her image over the years, translating them into a collection that combines her distinctive identity with the established codes of both brands.

The references do not end there. The collection looks to the imagery of 1990s supermodels, as well as queer subcultures and the energy of nightlife, all recurring influences within Ludovic de Saint Sernin’s work. These elements are reinterpreted through a refined aesthetic in which the body is never relegated to the background.

SKIMS’ signature tonal palette helps bring the collection together, while the sheer fabrics and more daring details immediately introduce the French designer’s identity. Rather than setting two creative languages against one another, the result seeks to highlight the ideas both names have been exploring for years from different perspectives.

The campaign reinforces that same vision. Photographed by Steven Klein, it translates the sensuality of the garments into imagery where physicality, sexuality and the visual references of the 1990s once again take centre stage.
