Halle Bailey looks like a real-life Mermaid in a dazzling themed dress

If you’re anything like us, you’re probably more than excited for the upcoming release of Disney’s “The Little Mermaid” with Halle Bailey.

The actress, who plays Ariel in the film, has been nailing every outfit on “The Little Mermaid” press tour. Her ensembles always follow the theme, giving subtle nods along with more obvious references to both her character and the film’s story as a whole. Every time she steps onto the ocean-blue carpet (red wouldn’t have fit the theme, right?), she looks like a literal princess.

And the dazzling dress Halle Bailey wore at the UK premiere in London is no exception.

Wearing a custom-made design by Miss Sohee, the white dress featured an embellished halter neckline and a back strap attached to a bodice with a plunging neckline and tulle trim. A sheer panel wrapped around the back of Halle, creating the illusion of a backless design.

The fabric flared out into a subtle mermaid silhouette and an elegant train on the skirt, adorned with even more embellishments, sequins, and pearl shell-shaped accents along the hips and down one side of the train. A silver beaded headpiece completed the look.

We’re not the only ones loving Halle’s look. TV host, fashion designer, and style guru Tan France attended the premiere and left a comment on Halle’s Instagram post, writing, “You were amazing in the film, and you looked stunning last night! 😍” while Vanessa Hudgens simply added, “An angel.”
