After the great reception of the sequel to the Disney classic Hocus Pocus, the president of Walt Disney Studios has confirmed the filming of a third installment.
In 2022, they released “Hocus Pocus 2” through Disney+. Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, Kathy Najimy, and Doug Jones, who portrayed the Sanderson sisters and Billy, reprised their roles from the first film 29 years ago. Shortly after the movie’s release, some of the original actors who were not in the sequel revealed that they would be appearing in a third film.
“Who says there has to be continuity in terms of the story? You can create any story,” said Omri Katz (who played Max). “If they take the book and turn it into a script, it doesn’t have to be the witches who return. They can do whatever they want, and people will be excited to see it regardless.”
