Kevin Jonas, the eldest of the Jonas Brothers and co-host of the show “Claim to Fame,” recently shared a personal and concerning update with his followers. Through his Instagram account, Kevin revealed that he had minor surgery to remove a basal cell carcinoma from his head.
In his post, accompanied by a video, 36-year-old Kevin stressed the importance of monitoring skin health. “Friendly reminder to get your moles checked 🙏,” he wrote in the caption of the clip.
In the video, Kevin detailed his situation: “Today, I’m having a basal cell carcinoma removed from my head. Yes, that’s a small skin cancer that started growing, and now I have to undergo surgery to remove it.”
Kevin also urged his followers to take regular skin check-ups seriously: “Make sure you get those moles checked, people,” he added at the end of the video.
