Anya Taylor-Joy reveals in a recent interview how fashion became her armor to face fame and public anxiety.

Anya Taylor-Joy, known for her versatility in fashion, shared in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar UK how she has learned to handle fame and how fashion has become her personal “armor.” Although she is now considered one of Hollywood’s best-dressed women, Taylor-Joy confessed that fashion wasn’t always natural for her. In fact, before becoming a Jaeger-LeCoultre ambassador, she preferred to dress in loose and comfortable clothing, steering clear of red carpet trends.

In the interview, Taylor-Joy revealed that she started getting interested in fashion as a way to feel comfortable in situations that made her anxious, such as public events. “If I looked at it as something more artistic, it would shut off that part of my brain that would normally be scared,” she explained.

The actress also mentioned that she now works closely with stylists to ensure that her red carpet looks reflect her style and the character she is portraying. Despite her growing fame, Taylor-Joy admitted that she still struggles with certain aspects of being in the public eye, but her love for the creative process helps her overcome those challenges.
