Paul Mescal humorously responds to viral TikTok rumors accusing him of abandoning his dates in parks.
Actor Paul Mescal has broken his silence regarding a curious TikTok trend that accused him of leaving his dates in parks after spending an evening together. In a recent interview, Mescal reacted with humor to the accusations, exclaiming, “Oh, damn it!” when asked about it. According to the actor, both he and his family found the viral videos amusing, considering them entirely false. “We were dying laughing. It’s categorically untrue. We just kept laughing and laughing,” Mescal explained.
However, not everyone in his family took the situation so lightheartedly. His mother, after seeing the videos, felt upset and worried. “What affected me was seeing my mom in the kitchen, clearly bothered by the comments,” he said. Despite finding the trend funny, Mescal expressed empathy for his mother, acknowledging her protective instincts.
Taking the opportunity to make fun of the situation, the actor jokingly pointed to a collection of books titled Hidden Walks of London, saying, “I should take these for my runaway dates.”
Mescal wrapped up the topic by clarifying that while the story is false, the power of social media can create rumors that even impact those closest to you.
