With a rhythmic, synthetic bassline as its foundation, accompanied by warm Afrobeats percussion,Hot Body blends sensuality and energy with Ayra Starr’s signature vocal fluidity. The song was co-written with Deeno and produced by Ragee, who also produced her global hit Commas, with additional production by The Elements.

This release arrives just ahead of her highly anticipated UK tour alongside Coldplay, including sold-out dates at Craven Park (Hull) and the iconic Wembley Stadium in August. These performances mark her return to UK stages after making history as the first Afrobeats artist to play Glastonbury’s Pyramid Stage.

So far this year, Ayra Starr has achieved significant milestones. She became the first female artist in 16 years to win the MOBO Award for Best African Music Act and released Gimme Dat with Wizkid, a track that has already surpassed 22 million Spotify streams. Ayra Starr’s impact extends beyond music. She is set to make her film debut in the adaptation of ‘Children of Blood and Bone‘, starring alongside Viola Davis and Idris Elba. With over 3 billion global streams, 1 billion YouTube views, and collaborations with artists such as Rvssian, Rauw Alejandro, and AP Dhillon, her influence crosses borders and genres.
