Sabrina Carpenter accidentally revealed the new Prada Beauty balm in her ‘Manchild’ music video, and no one noticed.
The current pop artist sets trends once again with a subtle but effective gesture. In the ‘Manchild’ video, Sabrina Carpenter is seen eating sweets branded with the Prada logo, a hint that now makes sense: the brand has just announced its new lip balm, ‘Banana Yellow’, a banana-scented edition that promises to become a must-have.
Known as a global ambassador for Prada Beauty, Carpenter previously caused a sensation by wearing the ‘Astral Pink’ shade in the ‘Please Please Please’ video, selling out in just a few hours. Now, the new yellow balm — although applied translucent with a soft golden shine — threatens to repeat the viral phenomenon.
Sabrina had already been secretly using this product: she wore it in ‘Manchild’, but no one knew it was the new launch. In the singer’s own words, she applies it over her lip colour mixes to hydrate and give a natural luminous finish.
The ‘Banana Yellow’ balm will be available from 1st July on the official Prada Beauty website, priced at £40 (approximately €47). If it follows the same path as its predecessor, it will fly off the shelves within hours.
