Beyoncé, through her BeyGOOD foundation, has donated $2.5 million to support the victims of the wildfires in Los Angeles, helping affected communities.
In response to the devastating wildfires that have hit Southern California since January 7, 2025, Beyoncé, through her BeyGOOD foundation, has donated $2.5 million to support relief efforts in the Los Angeles area.
The funds are aimed at supporting families in the Altadena and Pasadena regions, as well as churches and community centres providing essential resources to those who have lost their homes.
Founded by Beyoncé in 2013, BeyGOOD has become known for supporting causes that address economic inequality and emergency relief. This donation reinforces her commitment to community welfare and disaster assistance.
In addition to this initiative, other major companies have contributed to the cause. The Walt Disney Company pledged $15 million for the rebuilding of devastated communities, while Paramount and Fox Corp. have donated over $1 million to organizations such as the American Red Cross and the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Beyoncé’s philanthropic gesture has been widely praised, highlighting the importance of collective action and the impact of public figures during critical moments.
