The actress was photographed alongside her husband, Ryan Reynolds, and their children in Lake Placid, in upstate New York, where the family spent the day attending an equestrian competition in which one of their daughters was taking part.
The photographs have attracted considerable attention as they emerged during the celebrations for Taylor Swift’s wedding, an event that has brought together numerous high-profile celebrities and generated enormous media interest. Blake Lively’s appearance far from Manhattan has further fuelled speculation about the current state of her friendship with the singer, following months of rumours suggesting the pair may have grown apart.
Lake Placid is located close to the Canadian border, nearly a five-hour drive from New York City, leading many to believe that the actress has chosen to spend the holiday weekend with her family rather than remain in the city hosting the wedding celebrations.
