In her exciting debut as Chloé‘s creative director, Chemena Kamali unveils her Fall 2024 collection, titled ‘The Beginning’, inspired by the brand’s rich history. In a heartfelt introduction to her new role, Kamali expresses her deep desire to capture the essence of the “Chloé woman” – a character she deeply identifies with and admires. Drawing inspiration from key moments in the house’s history, particularly Karl Lagerfeld’s influential collections from the 1970s, she seeks to bring a sense of return and homage to these defining eras.
Chloé, as a brand, is characterized by a unique feminine perspective: immediate, essential, real, and energetic. Instead of transforming, the brand seeks to empower women to embrace their authenticity and the opportunities life offers. Kamali’s mission is clear: to directly engage with women’s desires for authentic and personal clothing that combines fluidity with structure, movement with a touch of “unfinished.”
