DeMellier presents its Autumn/Winter 2026 collection with new bags, sculptural shapes, Italian leather and colours inspired by the sophisticated rhythm of urban life.

DeMellier once again places the city at the heart of its creative universe with an Autumn/Winter 2026 collection designed to keep pace with urban life. This season, the British brand embraces a combination of architectural design, functionality and contemporary elegance, strengthening an identity that has made its handbags increasingly recognisable.

Founder and Creative Director Mireia Llusia-Lindh builds the collection around defined volumes and carefully considered proportions. Clean lines meet sculptural forms, while a palette dominated by Bordeaux, Warm Brown and Dark Green introduces the depth traditionally associated with autumn. These shades are joined by Zebra-Effect and Large Croc-Effect finishes, designed to add texture and character.

The campaign, photographed by Umit Savaci and starring Taylor D, brings this visual language into a contemporary urban setting. Architecture becomes a natural extension of the handbags, creating a dialogue between buildings, geometric shapes and accessories.

One of the season’s biggest new arrivals is The Brooklyn, a new family presented in two sizes: The Brooklyn and The Midi Brooklyn. Both designs borrow certain codes from The New York while establishing their own identity through elongated proportions and a distinctive structured construction.

The sculptural fold-over closure incorporates an interior zip and DeMellier’s recognisable signature belt detail. Long top handles allow the bags to sit comfortably over the shoulder, while their spacious interiors provide enough room for everyday essentials.

Both models are crafted from Italian leather rated Gold by the Leather Working Group, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to combining quality materials with construction designed for everyday use.

The New York collection is also expanding with a new crossbody bag. The design retains the family’s signature structured silhouette while introducing a deeper side profile to increase its capacity. A wide adjustable leather strap allows it to be worn either across the body or over the shoulder, adapting one of the brand’s most recognisable designs to different moments throughout the day.

Another standout addition is The Florence Crossbody, which transforms the collection’s signature woven leather craftsmanship into an original triangular structure. The design features a concealed magnetic closure, a detachable and adjustable strap, and a bombé handle that allows it to be carried as a top-handle bag.

Once the strap is removed, The Florence Crossbody can also be transformed into a clutch, reinforcing one of the season’s defining concepts: versatility. DeMellier aims to create accessories capable of adapting to different situations without compromising on a sophisticated aesthetic.

Texture also takes on a particularly important role. The new Zebra-Effect finish is created through a combination of dyeing, finishing and screen-printing techniques, resulting in a tactile surface with a distinctive animal-inspired pattern. Meanwhile, Large Croc-Effect enlarges the brand’s traditional crocodile embossing to deliver a more graphic and contemporary interpretation.
