Demi Lovato performs ‘Ghost’ on ‘The Tonight Show’ and opens up about her wedding, her album ‘It’s Not That Deep’ and her new personal and professional chapter.
Demi Lovato once again showcased her vocal strength during her latest appearance on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’, where she delivered a live performance of ‘Ghost’, one of the most emotional tracks from her latest album ‘It’s Not That Deep’.
Accompanied only by a pianist, the singer offered an intimate and deeply moving performance centred entirely on the power of her voice. The minimalist staging allowed the lyrics and delivery to take centre stage, reinforcing the personal nature of the song.
Beyond the performance, Demi Lovato joined Jimmy Fallon for a conversation about her current moment, reflecting on both her music career and personal life. During the interview, the artist shared details about her recent wedding, one of the most meaningful moments of her life.
Among the highlights, she mentioned the presence of John Rzeznik, lead singer of Goo Goo Dolls, who performed ‘Iris’ during the couple’s first dance. “It was such a special moment. We really wanted that song and he made it incredible. There was a point where everyone was singing — it was beautiful,” she explained.
The celebration also featured Paris Hilton as DJ, bringing a vibrant and festive energy to the evening. “She’s iconic. The energy was amazing,” Lovato said about her involvement in the event.
During the conversation, the singer also spoke about her new cookbook, ‘One Plate at a Time’, and reflected on her performance with the Jonas Brothers last summer at MetLife Stadium, a moment she described as particularly nostalgic.
