Accompanied only by a pianist, the singer offered an intimate and deeply moving performance centred entirely on the power of her voice. The minimalist staging allowed the lyrics and delivery to take centre stage, reinforcing the personal nature of the song.
Beyond the performance, Demi Lovato joined Jimmy Fallon for a conversation about her current moment, reflecting on both her music career and personal life. During the interview, the artist shared details about her recent wedding, one of the most meaningful moments of her life.
Among the highlights, she mentioned the presence of John Rzeznik, lead singer of Goo Goo Dolls, who performed ‘Iris’ during the couple’s first dance. “It was such a special moment. We really wanted that song and he made it incredible. There was a point where everyone was singing — it was beautiful,” she explained.
