Dua Lipa has taken a major step in her personal life by confirming her engagement to British actor Callum Turner. The 29-year-old singer shared the news over dinner, expressing her excitement about this new chapter. “Yeah, we’re engaged. It’s very exciting,” said Lipa.
The engagement ring was specially designed after Turner consulted with Lipa’s closest friends and her sister. The result couldn’t be more perfect for her: “I’m obsessed with it. It’s so me. It’s nice to know the person that you’re going to spend the rest of your life with knows you very well.”
While wedding planning hasn’t begun yet, the couple are enjoying their engagement. “I want to finish my tour, Callum’s shooting, so we’re just enjoying this period,” she explained. “I’ve never been someone who’s really thought about a wedding… All of a sudden I’m like: ‘Oh, what would I wear?’”
Lipa also opened up about the meaning of their commitment: “This decision to grow old together… to be best friends forever – it’s a really special feeling.”
