Stars shone at the 2025 Golden Globes, where glamour, vibrant colours, and elegance dominated the red carpet.

The 2025 awards season kicked off with the Golden Globes, and the red carpet in Los Angeles was filled with glamour and style. Hollywood’s biggest stars not only competed for awards but also for the best looks of the night.

Demi Moore stood out twice: she dazzled in a black satin dress with silver details and took home her first Golden Globe. The stars of Wicked, Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande, although not winning in their categories, turned heads with vibrant-coloured dresses.

The red carpet was an explosion of colour and textures. Designs in rose gold, burnt orange, and vibrant pink set the trend, while voluminous and classic archive silhouettes added an elegant touch. This season’s opener made it clear that fashion continues to be just as important as the awards themselves.

Zendaya

Zendaya appeared to be the embodiment of old Hollywood glamour fused with Madonna’s style as she stood in front of the Beverly Hilton Hotel in a burnt orange dress and matching pointed shoes.

With a diamond ring on her left hand and a short bob haircut reminiscent of the sophisticated style of her Challengers character in the latter half of the film, the actress made onlookers sigh as she posed for the cameras outside.

Cynthia Erivo

Cynthia Erivo walked the red carpet in a stunning black and white Louis Vuitton dress, which featured a sculpted short angular skirt over a longer one.

The Broadway star’s floral-printed gown perfectly paid tribute to her role as Elphaba in Wicked by John Chu, with contrasting black-and-white tones that truly shone.

Ariana Grande

Instead of sticking to the pink palette designed for her character Galinda, Ariana Grande teamed up with her stylist Mimi Cuttrell to wear a pale yellow vintage Givenchy dress from 1966.

The gown, adorned with crystals, paired with short white opera gloves and an elegant ponytail, was exceptionally chic, proving that she could embody the delicacy of her Wicked character without being too obvious.

Demi Moore

Before winning for her performance in The Substance, Demi Moore celebrated the glamorous evening in a long golden Giorgio Armani Privé dress, embellished with a silver, shimmering stripe running from the neckline to her hip. Moore’s signature black hair cascaded elegantly to the side as she posed for the camera.

Colman Domingo

Colman Domingo transformed the silhouette of a classic suit into a striking ensemble, pairing it with a polka-dot shirt and a soft fringed scarf draped over his neck. The entire outfit was designed by Alessandro Michele, the newly appointed creative director of Valentino.

Fans praised Domingo’s fun sense of style on social media.

“Honestly, I would hate this on anyone else, but this man just slays everything he wears,” wrote X user @Djake_Unchained.

Eddie Redmayne

Eddie Redmayne chose not to play it safe, walking the red carpet in a black-and-white checkered Valentino suit over a cream-coloured Murray Hill collar shirt.

The 42-year-old actor took a risk, bringing a fresh twist to the standard tuxedo that most men wear during awards season.

Jeremy Strong

Jeremy Strong looked incredibly chic in front of the Beverly Hilton Hotel, wearing a turquoise velvet suit and matching bucket hat.

The 46-year-old Succession actor won the unofficial “best-dressed” award at the 2025 Golden Globes, according to smitten online fans.

“The real winner tonight, just for this outfit,” wrote X user @DaltonRoss.
