Emma Chamberlain and Jared Ellner attended Uniqlo’s omakase dinner in L.A. as the brand expands in California.
Uniqlo, the global fashion brand based in Japan, is expanding its presence in California with the opening of four new stores. The first will open in Sacramento on September 13, followed by a store in Los Angeles at Westfield Century City on September 27, another at Westfield Galleria in Roseville on October 4, and finally, at Westfield UTC in San Diego on October 18.

The announcement was made by Nicolas Cessot, Uniqlo’s head of marketing for North America, during a dinner in Los Angeles celebrating the brand’s new Fall 2024 collection. The event, held at Kodō, featured an omakase experience and was attended by Emma Chamberlain, the 23-year-old famous YouTube star, and her stylist Jared Ellner, who co-hosted the evening.
Ellner was responsible for designing the campaign for the new line, highlighting natural tones and loose, lightweight cuts, ideal for layering. Additionally, Cessot revealed that Uniqlo will open new stores in Dallas and Houston in October.

Uniqlo continues to support the arts by sponsoring the ‘Kaws + Warhol’ exhibition and collaborating with museums like MoMA and the Louvre, promoting access to art through its “Art for All” project.
