Eli Russell Linnetz presents his first holiday collection for ERL, inspired by surf culture and the laid-back essence of California.
Eli Russell Linnetz, the creative behind ERL, celebrates his love of American nostalgia with his first holiday collection, Chapter Two: California Holiday. Set on iconic Venice Beach, the campaign captures local surfers, highlighting a relaxed and authentic spirit that is synonymous with the brand.
The line, deeply influenced by California’s surf culture and laid-back style, includes key pieces such as a chocolate shearling coat ($11,700) and its canary yellow hooded version. Accessories such as messenger bags and shearling boots, along with the signature hoodie swirl in red with tartan patches, complete the proposal. Warm tones such as washed-out red and chocolate brown permeate the collection, with details that evoke a vintage feel.

The collection is not limited to clothing; it features hand-dyed socks and robes made from recycled materials, all produced locally in California. ERL also relies on storytelling to connect emotionally with its fans: the story of Kai, a character who gathers his friends on a farm in Big Sur, encapsulates the spirit of community and resilience during the holidays.
With the collection available in stores, ERL continues to strengthen its presence in fashion, following a year of milestones such as its collaboration with Levi’s and the opening of its first store in Venice.
