Makeup house Estée Lauder and Feng Chen Wang have been inspired by Asian culture.
Designer Feng Chen Wang known for her inspirational fashion collections that celebrate her Fujian heritage, has announced her partnership with Estée Lauder to launch a new makeup line. According to the designer, makeup is an extension of our self-expression and, like fashion, sits closer to our skin.

With motifs such as bamboo, Chinese landscapes and the phoenix, Wang’s makeup collection is an homage to his hometown and an offshoot of his fashion brand. An example of this is the Pure Color Sculpt & Glow Multi-Tasking Palette, a compact palette of six containers whose earthy tones are inspired by the mountains of Fujian. The range is presented in a bamboo box carved with the silhouette of a phoenix.a symbol that represents the union of yin and yang in Asian culture and which, for Wang, is a symbol that represents the union of yin and yang in Asian culture, is also a metaphor for gender liberation, one of its brand values.
Wang’s partnership with Estée Lauder has resulted in a visually captivating and meaningful makeup line. As always, the designer has made her mark on the beauty world with a collection that celebrates her cultural heritage and commitment to gender inclusion.
