On September 12, 2024, Harris Reed’s fashion show at the Tate Modern brought together Ellie Goulding, Paul Forman, and Kate Beckinsale.
On September 12, 2024, Harris Reed‘s ‘Encore’ collection for Spring-Summer 2025 was showcased at the prestigious Tate Modern in London, an iconic museum of modern and contemporary art. This runway event, which has become a key moment in the fashion world, gathered prominent figures such as Ellie Goulding, Paul Forman, Maxim Magnus, and Kate Beckinsale, among others.

The collection celebrates Reed’s fascination with found and recycled materials, elevating them to a new level in his world of Demi-Couture. Continuing the interior design theme from last season, Reed reimagines vintage fabrics like lace tablecloths, damask curtains, and antique upholstery. Vintage Point de Venise lace pieces are transformed into a curved-sleeve jacket and a bias-cut skirt, while a 19th-century French curtain panel adorns a crinoline dress. Details from a 19th-century French silk damask with gold cherub designs are used in a corseted jacket, and pale blue 19th-century silk panels are reimagined in a corseted jacket with wide sleeves.
The collection’s silhouettes stand out with their exaggerated hips and cinched waists, complemented by structured lapels and sculptural collars, creating architectural shapes that contrast with the fluidity of generous skirts and delicate fabrics. Reed also celebrates the craftsmanship behind his designs, revealing the internal structure of his corsets and crinolines, highlighting the beauty of these essential elements to the brand.
