There are many trends that we are seeing repeated among the guests at the Cannes Festival this year, but one that doesn’t go unnoticed is the hooded dress trend.
In the never-ending list of trends making a comeback from the past, we come across dresses with built-in hoods. It was famous in the 80s and 90s, and no one expected it to return, but trends, even the most unexpected ones, always come back.
The hood takes on a new version through dresses, a much more elegant vision. We have seen it on runways (from Saint Laurent or Alaïa) as well as on red carpets and even the streets of fashion capitals. And, obviously, they couldn’t be missing on the red carpet of the Cannes Festival.
