Jacquemus and Timberland join forces to reinvent the “La Bateau” boat shoe with a vibrant banana yellow design.
Jacquemus and Timberland have teamed up for a collaboration that’s causing quite a stir. After a brief teaser on Instagram, the two style giants have unveiled their new take on the iconic 3-Eye Lug Boat Shoe, now renamed “La Bateau”. Originally launched by Timberland in 1978, this model has since become a staple of summer footwear.

The updated version stands out thanks to its vibrant “banana yellow” colour – one of Simon Porte Jacquemus’ favourite shades. Crafted from Timberland’s premium leather, the shoe features a chunky lug sole, soft leather lining, and cotton laces. It also boasts exclusive details, including a metal tag featuring both brands and square eyelets, giving it a modern and stylish twist.
The official release will take place on 23 April via the Jacquemus website, with wider availability starting on 24 April through Timberland. This collaboration is set to be a hit, combining the quality and design of two iconic brands to create a truly unique and sophisticated shoe.
