After recently being crowned as the creative director of menswear, Pharrell Williams took the stage at the end of the show, joined by Jay-Z, who performed hits like “Give It to Me.”

“You could have been anywhere else in the world tonight in some shitty club, but you’re here in Paris,” Williams said from the stage that spanned the bridge in front of the Louis Vuitton headquarters.

“We had one night to do this, no regrets,” said Jay-Z. The rapper wanted people to experience the moment and asked them to put away their phones.

During the show, we saw faces like Zendaya, Beyoncé, Kim Kardashian, Jaden and Willow Smith, as well as sports stars LeBron James, Lewis Hamilton, and Russell Westbrook.

“I’m back and with the family, I’m so back,” said Jaden Smith, who has been doing Louis Vuitton shows for the past seasons. “Pharrell inspires me in every way, as a musician and as a designer.”

Jared Leto arrived in what has become his white suit uniform, this time with bleached eyebrows. “It’s explosive,” he said about the collection. “It’s very creative and full of risks. I’m happy to be here as a witness and supporter. People like him always inspire me. The nonconformists who take risks,” he stated.

The bridge rocked until just before midnight when the bright klieg lights faded on the historic night. As Jay-Z said, it was just one night. At least until the next fashion season.
