The Jonas Brothers reveal the little white lies they tell their daughters and reflect on fatherhood in a lighthearted interview.

In a recent interview, the Jonas Brothers opened up about their experiences as fathers and shared some of the little “alternative truths” they use to handle everyday situations with their daughters. The conversation took place on the ‘Last Meals’ show on the ‘Mythical Kitchen’ channel, where Nick, Kevin, and Joe Jonas talked about their new music, their 20th-anniversary tour, and especially what it’s like raising their children while maintaining careers in the spotlight.

Kevin Jonas, father to two girls, Alena and Valentina, admitted he had to make up a story to limit their marshmallow cream consumption at home. “My daughters just discovered fluff. It’s dangerous… I told them they don’t sell it anymore,” he joked, explaining that sometimes small lies are necessary to protect them or avoid unnecessary conflict.

Nick Jonas, father to little Malti, also spoke about the challenges of raising a young girl in the digital age. He acknowledged that he tries to avoid lying, but sometimes prefers to bend the truth to make certain situations easier. “It’s not a big deal, but convincing a three-and-a-half-year-old to put down the iPad requires strategy. It can’t always be direct confrontation,” he said.

Joe Jonas, who shares parenting of his daughters Willa and Delphine with his ex-wife Sophie Turner, agreed with his brothers. He clarified that he tries to be honest but accepts that figures like Santa Claus or the Tooth Fairy are part of childhood magic. “They believe in those characters. And I think that’s okay; it’s part of growing up,” he commented.

Beyond the anecdotes, the Jonas Brothers showed that despite their fame and hectic lifestyle, they deeply value their role as fathers. They maintain a close bond as brothers, and their children are growing up with the same family spirit and mutual support.

Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Nick’s wife, also recently shared in an interview that their daughter Malti has very diverse musical tastes and that, although she doesn’t yet recognise her dad and uncles as members of a famous band, she affectionately calls them “the Donut Brothers,” another sign of the relaxed and loving environment surrounding the family’s youngest members.

The full interview with the Jonas Brothers will be available on the ‘Mythical Kitchen’ YouTube channel on Thursday, 31 July at 6 a.m. ET. It’s not only an intimate glimpse into their personal lives but also a chance to see the more human side of three of today’s most popular pop stars.
