After seven years redefining menswear tailoring and blending Dior’s heritage with a contemporary vision, the designer closes a pivotal chapter in the House’s history.
The rumours that circulated during his last show have been confirmed: Kim Jones has announced his departure, marking the end of an era in which he revolutionised Dior Men and cemented his status as one of the industry’s most influential creatives.
Under his direction, the House struck the perfect balance between heritage and modernity, crafting collections that seamlessly merged classic elegance with an avant-garde spirit. His ability to fuse fashion, art, and culture led to collaborations with figures such as KAWS, Daniel Arsham, Lewis Hamilton, and Nike, expanding the Maison’s influence beyond the runway.
“It has been a true honour to create my collections within the House of Dior, a symbol of absolute excellence. I express my deepest gratitude to my studio and the ateliers who have brought my creations to life. I would also like to thank the artists and friends with whom I have collaborated, as well as Bernard and Delphine Arnault for their support,” Jones said in his farewell statement.
Now, the big question looms over the future of Dior Men: who will take the reins and continue his legacy?
