Lindsay Lohan revives her iconic roles with style tributes while promoting ‘Freakier Friday’, her upcoming film.
Lindsay Lohan has once again captured global attention with a move that blends nostalgia, fashion, and cinematic strategy. At the London premiere of ‘Freakier Friday’, the actress appeared in a custom-made Ludovic de Saint Sernin dress that paid homage to the final look of her character Anna Coleman in the iconic 2003 film. The design reimagined the lilac lace dress Anna wore in the unforgettable wedding scene.

Now 39, Lohan is not only proving her staying power in the film industry but also showcasing her command of visual storytelling that resonates across generations. The dress, adorned with silver and white embellishments, was paired with a vintage electric guitar-shaped handbag and understated jewellery, including her engagement ring. A natural makeup look and loose hairstyle added balance to the ensemble, honouring the reference without being too literal.

This wasn’t her only recent tribute. During an appearance on Good Morning America, Lohan wore a yellow outfit inspired by The Parent Trap, and on Live with Kelly & Mark, she channelled Hallie Parker in a cheongsam-style dress by Roberto Cavalli. The actress has cleverly turned her past into a powerful promotional tool—just in time for the global release of ‘Freakier Friday’, hitting cinemas on 8 August.
