LOEWE welcomes Phuwin as its new brand ambassador, bringing fashion, acting, music and craftsmanship together in the House’s new creative era.

LOEWE is expanding its international family with a new name from one of Asia’s most dynamic cultural scenes. The Spanish House has announced Phuwin as its new brand ambassador, welcoming the Thai actor, singer and songwriter into its creative universe at a particularly significant moment: the beginning of the era led by Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez.

Born in Bangkok in 2003, Phuwin Tangsakyuen has built a career defined by versatility and a curiosity that extends far beyond acting. Signed to GMMTV, he gained wider recognition through his leading role in Fish upon the Sky, a production that played an important part in expanding his profile among international audiences.

Since then, the actor has continued to strengthen his screen career through a number of projects, including Me and Thee, one of GMMTV’s recent successes. His popularity has now extended far beyond Thailand, with a growing community of fans across different parts of Asia.

Acting, however, represents only one part of his creative identity. Phuwin has also developed a career as a singer and songwriter, demonstrating a natural ability to move between different disciplines. Even his academic background sets him apart from the conventional trajectory of a young star: before focusing his efforts across several creative fields, he studied engineering.

It is precisely this willingness to explore different worlds that lies at the heart of his connection with LOEWE.

For Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez, the House’s current creative directors, one of the most compelling aspects of Phuwin is the ease with which he moves between different forms of expression. The designers see his acting and music as coming from the same place: a genuine engagement with everything he does.

“What struck us about Phuwin is how naturally he moves between mediums,” McCollough and Hernandez explain. “Acting and music – all of it comes from the same place of genuine engagement. That’s something we try to bring to our own creative process – and it means something to feel that same echo in the people who inspire us.”

The connection works both ways. Phuwin has highlighted LOEWE’s craftsmanship as one of the qualities he admires most about the House. In an industry characterised by speed and a constant succession of newness, the artist is particularly drawn to the time, knowledge and care invested in pieces created by LOEWE’s artisans.

“What I admire most about LOEWE is their dedication to true craft – in a fashion world that moves so quickly, they still choose to make things by hand, balancing history with a modern perspective,” Phuwin says. “You can feel how much care and time the artisans put into every piece, and that inspires me to work that much harder at my own craft.

His appointment takes on additional significance as it coincides with the beginning of a new chapter for the historic Spanish House. Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez are shaping a new creative identity for LOEWE, preserving its exceptional artisanal heritage while exploring their own contemporary vision.
