At Milan Design Week, Loro Piana Interiors pays tribute to Cini Boeri with a unique installation of furniture and fabrics.

The installation showcases a selection of Boeri’s most celebrated furniture designs, including the Compasso d’Oro-winning “Strips” system, the “Bobo” armchairs, and the “Botolo” chairs. These pieces are uniquely adorned with Loro Piana Interiors’ luxurious fabrics, further highlighting the intersection between classic design and modern textile innovation. The design and collaboration with Cini Boeri and arflex also demonstrate Boeri’s commitment to functional and modular furniture that adapts to and enhances everyday living spaces.

Guests are encouraged to interact directly with the furniture, offering a practical and aesthetic experience that highlights Boeri’s designs. This interactive layout allows visitors to appreciate the tactile quality and functionality of the pieces up close.

The tribute to Cini Boeri not only commemorates the influential designer’s legacy but also presents a three-year journey of exploration and celebration. This culminates in a major retrospective scheduled for 2026 at the Triennale Milano, delving into Boeri’s impact on design and architecture.

From April 16th to 21st, between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. daily, the installation is open to the public at the Cortile della Seta, Loro Piana’s venue in Milan. Check out our selection of the best exhibitions and installations to see at Milan Design Week here.
