Louis Vuitton and Takashi Murakami celebrate 20 years of collaboration with the vibrant and colourful Chapter 3 of their collection.
Louis Vuitton and Japanese artist Takashi Murakami bring to a close one of the most iconic collaborations in contemporary fashion with the launch of Chapter 3 of their reissued collection. This new chapter is released alongside the Resort 2025 collection and commemorates two decades since their partnership transformed luxury fashion with the emblematic smiling cherry motif.

The collection features over 70 pieces that reflect the creativity and playful spirit that defined the union of Louis Vuitton and Murakami in the early 2000s. Handbags, silk scarves, footwear and accessories are reimagined through the artist’s colourful and joyful vision. Highlights include new designs with 3D-printed cherry motifs, as well as unique details such as cherry-shaped heels and delicate charms.

The campaign, starring Zendaya and captured by photographers Inez and Vinoodh, presents a surreal universe where cherries come to life, blending nostalgia with modernity. This global launch, set for May 2025, is a tribute to pop art and innovation in fashion—continuing to inspire new generations and reaffirming the importance of dialogue between artists and luxury houses.
