Pharrell Williams’ Louis Vuitton Menswear Fall 2025 collection has sparked diverse reactions among fashion enthusiasts.

The highly anticipated Louis Vuitton Menswear Fall 2025 collection, designed by Pharrell Williams in collaboration with Nigo, debuted today as the first major show of Paris Fashion Week’s menswear season. With a futuristic set featuring archival Louis Vuitton pieces and a soundtrack by l’Orchestre du Pont Neuf performing three exclusive tracks by Williams, the stage was set for a bold statement. However, reactions from members of theFashionSpot forum tell a tale of mixed reviews.

LadyJunon criticised the collection’s aesthetic, saying, “Everything looks like it stepped right out of a bootleg 90s/00s rap video. The only thing missing is Khia’s ‘My Neck, My Back’.” Fellow user youthinasia added, “My neck, my back. This collection is whack.” Other members took issue with what they perceived as a lack of innovation, with reese06 labelling Louis Vuitton “the McDonald’s of the industry,” questioning the luxury in the collection’s basic patterns.

Meanwhile, Creative dismissed the show entirely, stating, “I couldn’t care less about him and his approach to Louis Vuitton.” Some forum-goers, like Alquimista, noted a lack of refinement, particularly in tailoring: “His suits are really weird. And the pieces that are supposed to be fun are not fun enough.”

As Williams continues to steer Louis Vuitton menswear, his vision remains divisive.
