The iconic doll M3GAN is back, more powerful and thirstier for control than ever, in a sequel that promises pure technological chaos.

Get ready for the return of one of the most unsettling figures in recent cinema: M3GAN 2.0 hits cinemas on 27 June 2025 and is set to take technological horror to new heights. The first instalment revolutionised the horror-comedy genre with its blend of social satire, artificial intelligence, and a lethal doll turned pop icon.

In this sequel, Cady (once again played by Violet McGraw) is now 14 years old and begins to question the strict rules of her aunt Gemma (Allison Williams). But the real danger lies elsewhere: a military corporation has stolen M3GAN’s technology to create Amelia, a far more powerful infiltration android… and one with little interest in obeying humans.

When Gemma realises what’s coming, she decides to reactivate M3GAN, now equipped with deadly upgrades. The reason? Only the original can stop the threat she inadvertently helped create.

Directed by Gerard Johnstone and produced by James WanM3GAN 2.0 brings back much of the original cast, including Amie Donald and Jenna Davis as the voice of M3GAN. The first teaser, released on 3 February, confirms what many had anticipated: M3GAN is back… and more dangerous than ever.
