Madelyn Cline joins Johnny Depp and Penélope Cruz in ‘Day Drinker’, an action thriller directed by Marc Webb for Lionsgate.

‘Outer Banks’ star Madelyn Cline is set to share the screen with Johnny Depp and Penélope Cruz in ‘Day Drinker’, the upcoming action thriller from Lionsgate.

The film will be directed by Marc Webb, known for ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’ and Disney’s live-action ‘Snow White’. The plot follows a cruise ship bartender who encounters a mysterious day drinker, only for their meeting to entangle them in the criminal underworld, revealing unexpected connections between them.

For Cline, this marks a major step forward in her film career following her success in Netflix’s ‘Outer Banks’, where she plays Sarah Cameron. She will reprise her role in the show’s fifth and final season. Additionally, she is set to star in Sony’s ‘I Know What You Did Last Summer’, a sequel to the iconic horror franchise, as well as Amazon MGM’s ‘The Map That Leads to You’, a big-screen adaptation of the novel.
