The Australian actress commanded attention in Hollywood with a haute couture look at the premiere of ‘Wuthering Heights‘, Emerald Fennell’s ambitious new adaptation

The world premiere of Wuthering Heights became one of the most talked-about red carpet moments of the week in Hollywood. Held on 28 January at the TCL Chinese Theatre, the event brought together much of the cast and confirmed the high level of anticipation surrounding this new cinematic interpretation of the literary classic.

Margot Robbie, both star and producer of the film, took centre stage in a haute couture Schiaparelli gown. The design featured a tiered silhouette with a black-and-red ombré effect, finished with a black lace bodice that added drama and refinement. She completed the look with a Cartier necklace and a Fred Leighton ring, creating an image of classic glamour with a contemporary edge.

Beside her, Jacob Elordi opted for understated elegance in an all-black Bottega Veneta suit, paired with Cartier jewellery. A precise and restrained choice that heightened the visual chemistry between the two leads, who take on the roles of Cathy and Heathcliff—characters bound by a passion as intense as it is destructive.

The premiere was also attended by Hong Chau, Shazad Latif and Alison Oliver, as well as director Emerald Fennell, who wore a custom Giorgio Armani Privé creation. Music also played a key role in the evening thanks to Charli XCX, who wrote and recorded the entire original soundtrack and arrived in a Vivienne Westwood gown, Christian Louboutin shoes and Darius jewellery.

Produced by LuckyChap, the company founded by Margot Robbie and her husband Tom Ackerley, Wuthering Heights is set to hit cinemas on 13 February 2026. A highly anticipated release that promises an intense, sensual and emotionally dark vision of one of romantic literature’s most iconic stories.
