Marni Autumn 2025 presents an innovative collection inspired by cabaret, fusing art and fashion into a vibrant and creative experience.
The Autumn 2025 collection by Marni, directed by Francesco Risso, has transformed the concept of collaboration in fashion. Risso joined forces with Nigerian artists Slawn and Soldier to create a unique experience that combines art, reinvented Italian furniture, and a vibrant fashion collection. The show, set up like a cabaret, showcased an explosion of bittersweet candy colours, silk, and leather, inviting attendees to immerse themselves in a sensory world.

For 20 days, the three artists worked together, exploring creativity in an environment of intense connection. “It was liberating,” shared Risso, highlighting how the experience translated into designs that evoked a sense of fun and carefree spirit.
The event featured live music, with string and percussion instruments, while models, including Tracee Ellis Ross, paraded among tables covered in paint, showcasing garments reminiscent of the iconic 1972 film Cabaret.
From coats with surprising shapes to dresses in artificial hues, the collection aimed to leave viewers intoxicated by art. With its innovative approach, Marni continues to challenge the boundaries of fashion, turning each show into a celebration of creativity and artistic expression.
