Megan Thee Stallion may have released her second studio album, Traumazine, in August 2022, but she is already working on new music.
In a deeply personal essay for Elle she talked about her life since the guilty verdict of Tory Lanez in December 2022. Megan who no longer calls herself a victim but a survivor, explained that she finally entered a new chapter in her life after being shot in 2020, which is now sparking her creativity.
She said: “I was once told that you can’t have the crucifixion without the resurrection, and that statement resonated deeply with me. This is the rebirth of a happier, healthier me. I am a survivor and have, and will continue to, embrace the ups and downs of my journey. I am excited to get back to music because I have transformed so much. I’m playing with new songs and new sounds that I can’t wait for everyone to hear.”.
