Messika drives its international expansion with Edouard Schneider as Chief Brand Officer, strengthening its communication and strategic global presence.

The renowned French jewellery brand Messika continues to strengthen its global presence by appointing Edouard Schneider as Chief Brand Officer. This new role, effective immediately, enhances the company’s leadership team at a pivotal moment in its international expansion. Schneider will report directly to Valérie Messika, the founder and creative director of the brand.

With over 20 years of experience in communications and public relations, Schneider joins Messika after serving as global communications director at Acne Studios. Throughout his career, he has also worked with prestigious brands such as Louis Vuitton, Maison Margiela, and Givenchy, establishing himself as an expert in innovative communication strategies with a global impact.

In his new role, Schneider will oversee Messika’s communications and brand image activities in strategic markets such as New York, Shanghai, Dubai, and Tokyo. His focus will include public relations, celebrity collaborations, events, and social media, with particular emphasis on growth in Asia.

Messika has seen organic growth of over 40% annually since the pandemic, opening 18 boutiques in 2023 and planning another 15 this year. Furthermore, the recent opening of its flagship store on the Champs-Élysées in Paris and its upcoming launch in New York reinforce its global ambitions.
