Prada launches its Fall 2024 campaign, scripted by Miranda July, highlighting dialogue and starring Hunter Schafer and Damson Idris.
The cast of this campaign includes Prada ambassadors: Harris Dickinson, Damson Idris, Hunter Schafer, and Letitia Wright, along with new ambassador Ma Yili, a prominent Chinese actress known for her role in the hit TV series ‘Blossoms Shanghai’. Unlike conventional ads, the stars appear in pairs or groups of three, engaging in dialogues in settings that evoke neutrality, such as white or pale blue backgrounds, allowing the conversations and clothing to stand out.

Prada emphasizes its commitment to the exchange of ideas and opinions through fashion. According to the brand, “Each Prada collection is a conversation, an exchange of contrasting opinions within the designs and in their relationship with the audience.” Additionally, as part of the campaign’s activation, “conversation cards” have been created, also written by July, to encourage dialogues between people. Vanderperre’s images will be featured on billboards in New York, starting at the end of July.
This campaign underscores how Prada uses fashion not only as an aesthetic statement but as a platform for cultural dialogue.
