Naomi Watts launches National Hot Flash Day with Stripes Beauty to destigmatize menopause and educate about its symptoms.

Naomi Watts has decided to celebrate and destigmatize hot flashes by launching the first National Hot Flash Day through her brand Stripes Beauty. The initiative aims to open a dialogue about menopause, its symptoms, and its impact on women’s daily lives. The inaugural event took place at Bryant Park, New York, where Stripes offered product samples, ice cream, and education about menopause.

Watts, who has been open about her experience with hot flashes, stated: “Hot flashes are the most well-known symptom of menopause, but they can also cause shame and discomfort. We want to change that.” The actress shared how hot flashes have affected her sleep and daily life, seeking to normalize conversations about this natural stage of life.

The brand also launched a special online bundle called the Hot Flash Bundle, which includes products like a cooling spray and supplements to improve sleep and alleviate symptoms. Through this campaign, Stripes Beauty is partnering with healthcare professionals such as Dr. Somi Javaid, founder of HerMD, who emphasized the importance of educating and raising awareness about the impact of hot flashes on women’s quality of life and cardiovascular health.
