Porsche introduces three new all-wheel-drive 911 variants, combining power, iconic design, and cutting-edge technology for a superior driving experience.
Porsche has expanded its legendary 911 line-up with the launch of three new models equipped with all-wheel drive: the 911 Carrera 4S Coupé, the 911 Carrera 4S Cabriolet, and the 911 Targa 4S. This expansion brings the total number of all-wheel-drive versions in the 911 family to six, meeting the growing demand from drivers seeking a balance of high performance, safety, and dynamic control in all types of conditions.

The new models are positioned just below the GTS range and represent a significant evolution in the 911 line-up, coinciding with the 60th anniversary of the Porsche Targa – an iconic silhouette that debuted in 1965 as a safety solution for convertibles. Today, the Targa takes centre stage once again, available exclusively with all-wheel drive and featuring a fully automatic roof system that opens in 19 seconds, preserving its classic style with state-of-the-art technology.
Under the bonnet, the new all-wheel-drive 911s feature a 3.0-litre twin-turbo flat-six engine delivering 480 PS, an increase of 30 PS compared to its predecessor. Thanks to a new cooling system derived from the 911 Turbo and the eight-speed PDK automatic transmission, the Carrera 4S Coupé accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.3 seconds and reaches a top speed of 308 km/h. These figures place it among the most powerful and well-balanced models in its segment.

The Porsche Traction Management all-wheel-drive system prioritises power delivery to the rear axle but can send torque to the front when greater stability is needed. This setup ensures optimal performance through corners, on slippery surfaces, and in varying weather conditions, making it an ideal choice for those seeking sportiness without compromising on safety.
The standard equipment has also been upgraded to match the mechanical improvements. The new models feature 20-inch alloy wheels at the front and 21-inch at the rear, a model-specific sports exhaust system, Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus, and large brake discs with red GTS-style calipers. The Targa 4S comes as standard with rear-axle steering to enhance manoeuvrability at low speeds and stability at high speeds.
Inside, the new models offer a refined ambience with high-quality leather finishes, LED Matrix lighting technology, wireless charging for mobile devices, electrically adjustable exterior mirrors with ambient lighting, and a lane-keeping assist system. The Coupé versions are configured as two-seaters as standard, while the Cabriolet and Targa include rear seats, which are also available at no extra cost in the Coupé.

In addition, Porsche continues to offer a wide range of personalisation options to tailor each vehicle to the owner’s preferences. From colour and material combinations to enhancements in the sound system or roof design, every 911 can be uniquely configured. In the case of the Targa, the roof is available in black, blue, red, or brown, adding a distinctive touch to its timeless design.
With this new wave of all-wheel-drive models, Porsche not only reinforces the versatility of the 911 but also reaffirms its commitment to innovation, design, and the driving experience. The technical and emotional evolution of the 911 continues – more alive than ever – with models designed for enthusiasts who demand the best on every journey.
