Reebok introduces the Angel Reese 1, an exclusive sneaker that marks a historic return to high-performance women’s basketball shoes.
Reebok has officially announced the launch of the Angel Reese 1, the first high-performance signature sneaker designed for WNBA star Angel Reese. This new model signals the brand’s return to women’s signature footwear after more than two decades, highlighting not only the growth of women’s basketball but also Reese’s rise as a key figure both on and off the court.

The model will debut in the “Diamond Dust” edition—an iridescent finish that shifts between purple and pink depending on the light. The design is not only visually striking but also built for elite performance, featuring durable materials, a firm structure for quick cuts, and a high-traction sole tailored for competitive play. The tongue showcases the custom “AR” logo, while the heel features details celebrating her cultural and sporting impact.
Angel Reese, known for her charisma, talent, and influence among the new generation of athletes, teased the shoe through a campaign aligned with her appearance on the WNBA cover of the NBA 2K26 video game. She linked the Diamond Dust colourway to the concept of evolving under pressure, reflecting her own journey as a rising athlete and public figure.
This release makes Reese one of the few active WNBA players with a signature shoe, joining the ranks of Sabrina Ionescu, A’ja Wilson, Breanna Stewart, and Jacy Sheldon. The last time Reebok developed a women’s signature sneaker was in 1997 with Rebecca Lobo, making the Angel Reese 1 a landmark return to this kind of collaboration.
Reebok has stated that the sneakers will be available in 2025, although no exact release date or official pricing has been confirmed. However, additional colourways are expected to follow later in the year, expanding the line beyond its Diamond Dust debut. With this launch, Reebok not only strengthens its presence in women’s basketball but also reinforces its commitment to empowering new voices in sport.
